Ethan, Ed can look at you straight in the eyes and say that he did not get a single centavo from the garbage resolution.
It was very unfair for the admin to continually allow ghost accounts insulting other participants of this page.

    • Ed Piano during the deliberation that day, nobody said that the dump site has to be land fill compliant. the council voted minus that info. but after learning that rule, the resolution never again saw the light of day.

    • Ethan Trapo Sir, Hindi nmn po kailangan maging perfect tayo to see na mali at iligal ang isang bagay. bubuksan lng po natin ang mga mata natin. Hindi po bago ang RA9003. you have mr. posadas as a consultant bakit hindi nyo manlang hiningi ang opinion nya bago ipasa ang resolution 109.

    • Abe Bayquen i think mr. posadas came in after the fact. it was funny that the mayor did not even know his name and the 2 other environmentalists/chemists mr. posadas was with during the forum.. he asked for their names during his opening speech so he could introduce them... but thats not important, what was more important were the first statement of mr. posadas during the forum where he categorically said "there will be no pampanga garbage".

Thank you kuya edwin for making that clear and being humble about it. Honestly and humility is a rare trait in people with political power these days.

Well then that should be a reminder/lesson to our kagawad leaders (specially Ms. Hoya, young and a lot to learn)... in most of the resolutions created, they often put the... clause "provided it is in accordance to existing laws, rules and regulations"

Asking "IS IT?" and saying "PROVIDED THAT IT IS" are very different. The first one is reasserting the second one is assuming.

One kagawad said nung una nag dalawang isip sya, so she asked, kaya ba ng dumpsite natin? and then later on said "the proposed agreement should be in accordance with our existing government rules, laws and regulation" then she said yes... not knowing that it is not in accordance to RA9003 Art. 6 Sec. 37 and that M22 is not authorized by pampanga government and the DENR (as clearly pointed out by Mr. Viscocho during the forum, reading parts of an article from the daily inquirer).

Our lawmakers should look into the legal aspect, turn every stone, before raising their hands, saying yes and approving something which directly affects the peoples health and the environment... or even if a resolution has little significance, lets say for example, what color to paint the city hall with... they should look into laws, rules and regulations... and not just say "it should be in accordance to" and assume that it's all ok... what if may law pala na nagsasabing ganito lang dapat ang kulay ng munisipyo?...

as leaders, dont assume. because if you ASS-U-ME you make an ASS of U and ME. (pardon the language)

Just my 2 cents... our leaders are there to help us with good community projects and plans and we in return help our leaders, this is just one way i can help by pointing out the dirt and stain at the back of their shirts or that grain of rice they didnt notice is stuck on their chin while having lunch. I am not saying i am better and i know the constitution well but if was in their situation and was requested to give authority through a resolution i would think first and if im busy have my staff google the philippine contitution and find out that it is all ok before saying that it is ok.
