Your Say: Olongapo Subic's Biggest Conversation

People's concern about Subic Bay being polluted and SBMA not doing action to an urgent environmental problem. This video was recently taken to check the extent of pollution in Subic Bay. This writer will coordinate with concerned agencies such as Water Regulatory Board, DENR, SBMA and the local government units to try to work on a solution to this problem. My personal issue here is qualification. I have no doubt that this person's (Magsaysay) relatives and friends will attest to everyone that he is qualified. I am also not in a position to question his qualifications. My only concern or issue is "Is this the only person qualified to do this job?" Let's be fair! Either way, I'm sure nothing will happen. Subic is a prime area next to Singapore or more than to Singapore. The peak of it start during the development of insdustrial parks and international airport, paek because this is the start of turn over to a new olongapo; but because of politics its stop and still look the same. Port Project as we see is a new deal for its dvelopment, using a good environmental plan and holistic approarch for development,we can transform Subic into a new haven of progressive location, which i think olongapenos are long for.Lots of studies had been used by other country for development with out hampering our environment. Lots of filipino planners can be consulted on this, and i think environmental issues can be address and at the same time the port development will push thru. No any country had transform into a progressive country without a Port, and yet there is Subic, just sleeping , just being politisizes and being use as.
