Hanjin Security

To Whom It May Concern:

I Arwin Payumo Osorio , Resident of kalaklan Olongapo City, would like to file a complaint regarding HHIC-PHIL Security Patrol, it happened last May 14, 2008 at 12:55 AM. While having our break time at hanjin ship building at pre-out fitting shop (Bldg.) 9 workers of hanjin had experienced a GUN POINTING from Patig guys, one person was only wearing shorts and sandals. Two workers had experience harassment, brutality and were physical abused from the RED SAFETY PATROL.

They made a saddening action that put us in a critical situation! They turned off the light and came in our shop while some of my co workers were still asleep, they came in with a riffle pointed it at us and forced us to get down to our working place which is block # 1509. They forced us to get down on the floor. Two of us experienced this. One of them kicked my back to force me to get down on the floor and chained us. They hadn't told us anything so we were still wondering what was going on!

Although we said that we were workers there they still refused to listed to us. Only two of us had a hand chain, yes they put a hand chain to our hand while are hand are being twisted I ask for a time but they refuse to answer I thought its only a practice but its not.

After that they brought us to our seven co-workers and asked them if they knew us. They said, "yes", but they still didn't remove our hand chain.

Suddenly one Red Safety Patrol attacked my co-worker whom was also my co-hand chain. he started asking him why he looked at him "like that", and then he started pushing my co-worker. I tried to stop the red safety patrol by telling him to stop his only awake his small and tin person he looks like a teenager to me, but the red safety patrol ignored me and punched my co-worker in the stomach. I was confused, shaken and scared at the time but I still tried to stop the red safety patrol. I said, "sir, why is that? What¢s that for? That¢s illegal sir". I saw his id necklace but his id was hiding in his shirt pocket, so I asked him his name. Instead of telling me his name one of them punched me twice in the face. It caused four minor bleedings in my lips. Suddenly one of them made the right decision to put us in their mobile service and start questioning us. I answered all of his question with respect. Suddenly our engineering staff came due to one of my co-workers that ran for help. Our engineer confirmed that we are his men. The Red Safety Patrol rushed to take off our hand chain because one of the workers at hanjin shouted and said, "E video nyo yan"!! After they took off our hand chain they disappeared without even saying

"Sorry it was a big mistake"!!!

My coworkers and I were so deeply traumatized after this unfortunate incident no one was able to work the rest of the night because our whole bodies were shaken up and our minds were wondering what had just happened We were not able to fully recover enough to continue on thus putting us in jeopardy to be removed from our positions at Hanjin.

Sincerely,

Arwin Osorio
