daisy: i just want to correct with regards to the news about the chorale groups who joined the recent 1st asian choir games
daisy: there are two chorale group in Olongapo
daisy: one, the OLONGAPO YOUTH CHOIR headed by MS. JENNIVEE TOLENTINO. They're the one who joined last year's choir competiion in china and won also
daisy: the other one, new choir group in OCNHS, the ICT Chorale group. It's their first time to join an internation competition and won gold

sailorjohn: I have been following the old Subic Bay Naval bases(s) since we left in 1992. I was on my second tour in Subic with my family with the Navy. I was sadded to have to cut mu tour short as I love Subic and PImarried to a Filipina for 31 yrs.
sailorjohn: I am very happy that Subic has grown the way it has since 1992. We plan are making the move back to PI in a few year and retire. I would love to stop on in and see Subic Bay again.

kano: sailor john, subic indeed changed a lot..for the better.. we owed this to our leaders particularly RICHARD GORDON.. his vision to Subic and the philippines at large is undeniably a reflection of a true leader. He influenced most of us to sacrifice and volunteer to make subic what it is now. Welcome back to Philippines and wish you a better life here.

katutubo: Coal Power plant sa Subic ? mura nga yan coal ..pero sisirain naman ang kagubatan,karagatan at kalusugan ng buong olongapo at karatig bayan.. pag nagawa yan eh di naman nila sasagutin ang pambayad sa doktor at pambili ng gamot..ikaw pa ang magbabayad

sailorjohn: kano I met Mr. Gordon a few times at the Chief's Club on base when he would come and talk during lunch. He has done a great job for Subic Bay and I hope he continues to do a good job for the Philippines.
KANO: Mr. Gordon is one of THE BEST leader i have seen in our generation. Not only because am from Olongapo, but my whole family believes in him. WE knew what he is capable of as a leader. A leader that will bring change to the people’s lives and the country at large. Olongapo as you know is a very tiny city but classified as a very prosperous one, it is because, our leaders made it. Our leaders who painstakingly delineate what is good for everyone and not for themselves.
KANO: I really salute them. Mr. Gordon will run for presidency and hopefully, you will ask your wife’s relatives and friends to vote for him, the way we do not only in the Philippines but also in all parts of the world where Filipinos are present.

Badong: can't we be a little more discreet, just to give ourselves a little respect..
Badong: I know he can be a good leader, but there's something that I hate about him..
Badong: His arrogance would lead him nowhere..
Badong: being humble might work for him.. but seems like "Humility" is not in his vocabulary..
Badong: ...just my honest opinion... I agree he's a good leader and he may be a good president..but will never be. Only if change his approach in selling himself for the presidency..
