Games for the Brain
During breaktime, office workers may opt to take a snack, smoke, talk on the phone and others just to relax and take their mind off from work - even for a couple of minutes. If you're the type who loves to play games during lunch breaks or after office hours, you may want to try the site Games for the Brain.
Games for the Brain offer 32 free online games to entertain / relax you or maybe drain your brain some more. Some of the games are as follows:
1. Sudoko
Fill all rows, columns and 3x3 regions with exactly one instance of the numbers 1 to 9. CNN calls Sudoku (also known as Su Doku or Number Place) a "maddeningly addictive Japanese number logic puzzle which has become a bona fide craze."
2. SquareWord
A nine square box containing letters will be displayed. Letters are in order, start at any single square, and flow in horizontal or vertical direction and guess the word.
3. What Was There?
An image will be displayed. Memorize the image and answer a question on it later on.
4. LetterMaze
Memorize the 2 words - then spell them by moving your mouse through the maze.
5. MasterMind
After you memorized the images, one will be replaced and positions are shuffled. Then pick the image that was replaced.
6. What Word?
A definition will be given and you will be asked to determine the word defined.
7. Speed Read
A word / phrase will be displayed briefly and ou will be asked to type the full phrase after seeing it briefly.
8. I Will Read Your Mind
You will be asked to mentally pick one card and memorize it, and the website will guess the card you selected.
