new comment on "Deloso Issues EO Creating Task Force Hanjin

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post " Deloso Issues EO Creating Task Force Hanjin ": No problem in creating a taskforce Hanjin, but to be headed by the former Vice Governor of Zambales Lacbain? Is he the same Lacbain who just ran in the recent elections for Congressman of the 1st district of Zambales against Mitos Magsaysay and LOST? If YES, I suggest the good governor Dellosa review the Local Gov't Code of 1991 , Sec 94 which states that EXCEPT for losing candidates in the barangay elections, no candidate who lost in any election shall. within one year after such election, be APPOINTED to ANY OFFICE in the GOVERNMENT or any gov't owned or controlled corporations or in any of their subsidiaries. NOW, unless TASK FORCE HANJIN is a PRIVATE ORGANIZATION, go ahead.

Deloso's observation that the bridge should have been the lesser priority. While it was perhaps meant to provide continuity in the highway, it may not serve its purpose when the areas after the bridge will be submerged later when the floods come. The P280 M could have been used to purchase equipment like bulldozers and dump trucks to build the dikes that can protect the barangays in San Narciso. The project was funded by the national government and implemented by the DPWH. Again, a manifestation of questionnable priorities - "contracts" vs. people's welfare. 6 Zambales villages to vanish?

new comment on post 6 Zambales villages to vanish? http://subicbaynews.blogspot.com/2007/07/6-zambales-villages-to-vanish.html Hi! You'll: Dredging the river channel has proven to be the real, honest solution. The problem was that the moneys disbursed for this purpose had fallen to dishonesthands. It has been rumored year after year that the labor and the equipment designated for dredging had been diverted to build private fish ponds and for irrigation of private farms. An audit should bring those irresponsible officials to light and be brought to justice and they be banished. This may save thus from "6 Zambles velliges to vanish". Pleadingly, that you save: Namatacan, Grullo, Alusiis, San Pascual, Dalipawen, and La Paz from vanishing! Where would you take the residents then? Wouldn't you rather help them build concrete, flood-proof, lofty homes on the mounds of lahar? ...truly, Edmo Cayaban
